Tulsa Film Collective and TU Film Studies bring Roger and James Deakins to Tulsa for a free conversation titled "The Art of Collaboration with Team Deakins" with the local filmmaking community on Wednesday, February 25 at the Lorton Performing Arts Center from 4 to 7 PM.
Sponsored by the Hulett Collection, this event is open to the public with seating reserved for filmmaking students and professionals. This conversation with Team Deakins — married creative partners Sir Roger Deakins, ASC, BSC and James Ellis Deakins - will center around their legacy of collaboration and the release of Roger's book, Reflections on Cinematography and will cover lessons and triumphs from the Academy Award- winning cinemtographer’s iconic career that includes his work on 1984, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, No Country for Old Men, Blade Runner 2049 and 1917.
